About Pomodoro Timer

Pomodoro Timer is a free online focus timer with a glassmorphism floating window that stays on top of your other apps. No sign-up, no app, no paywall — it loads fast, works on any device, and runs entirely in your browser so it keeps working offline once loaded.

How it works

The timer runs entirely in your browser using a real wall-clock deadline, so the countdown stays accurate even if you switch tabs, let your computer sleep, or reload the page. Press Float and it pops into a small always-on-top window (your browser's Picture-in-Picture feature) that stays visible over your other apps. Completed focus sessions are saved locally on your device — no sign-up, no server, nothing to install.

Why we built it

Most Pomodoro timers online are cluttered with ads, demand an account, or lose your progress the moment you switch tabs. We wanted a timer that starts instantly, survives a reload or a sleeping laptop without losing the countdown, and stays visible while you work in other apps — nothing else.

A note on accuracy

The countdown is driven by your device's system clock, not a server, so it stays accurate even if the tab is backgrounded — but a wildly wrong system clock will throw it off too. See our Terms & Conditions for the full disclaimer.
